Life: Adventures: Canoeing, the "WEE"

{ Life }

September 3, 2006

Yesterday we rented a canoe (Kevlar!) and went canoeing on Sauvie Island. It was fun, mostly: hot, smelled like blackberries and cow pies. Our map ended up being a little less than accurate and ultimately led us to a muddy dead end.

Today, David is walking/running the entire length of the Wildwood Trail–at once. That’s 30.16 miles, on his own. I myself have walked and run the entire length of the Wildwood Trail (several times over, actually), but not in one piece. My healing sprained ankle puts me entirely out of the question for the WEE, though even in good times I think I’d probably keel over after about 18 miles.
