I was thinking. I’m scared buttless of flying yet I spend a lot of time in airports. Is that ironic?
A list of airports I’ve been in but not flown in or out of:
OHare (Chicago): During road trip in the late 90s to pick up a friend
Logan (Boston): Picking up various people arriving for my sister’s college graduation, 2002
JFK (NY): Picking up Gray, 2000
Cabo San Lucas (Mexico): Picking up friends, 2001
Gatwick (London): Picking up friends, 2000 and 2001
Stansted (Londonish): Ditto
Madrid: Dropping off my sweet David, 2000
Ch. de Gaulle (Paris): Meeting my sister and dad and stepmother, 2000
PDX (Well, haven’t flown in or out of PDX since 1995 or so)
I’m sure there are others, but this is what I can think of right now.
