Charles Dickens: Great Expectations

{ Books & Learning }

Just finished reading this. Put a review on LibraryThing, which I would make show up on the right side of my blog Web page in the feed slot (Stuff I’m Doing Elsewhere), but Google Reader is not seeing the update in my RSS feed, no matter how many times I hit refresh. Irritating.

    I share your love for Dickens. If you ever can find it,
    author T.C. Boyles talks about Dickens in a Magazine Interview… I wish I could recall the magazine ( a writers mag probably) Great Expectations was the first Dickens Novel I ever read, thanks to a middle school teacher. The Old Curiosity Shop is another great one– oh they are all worth reading anyway.

    I agree Dicken’s is a fenominal writer. I just read Great Expectations and I thought it was a fine piece of literature. The characterization was superb!!
