Nostalgic POTD: Pre Chez-Clay Era
March 17th, 2008My old Prelude before they blew up the Trojan cooling tower, anyway.
This was even before Chez Clay. I bring up Chez Clay (sorry if you don’t know what it is–I kind of assume it’s general knowledge sometimes, but really, it’s an inside joke/thing) because it came up as it so often does in over-beer conversations during the weekend. I have always been staunchly in the anti-permanence camp when it comes to body bits and in that way have never even been tempted to get a tattoo.
But, I assert, and do so now publicly, that if there were a defined, not awful Chez Clay coat of arms, I’d totally get that tattoo. Really.

A. This I swear, I will have the Prelude back on the road by the end of this summer, I just haven’t made it a priority. (technically I drove it to my current house, but that was not entirely legal) B. I will get that tatoo with you, of course this will start a trend and I’ll end up one of these arm-sleeve freaks, but hey, my current unmarked skin doesn’t really benefit me much, you know, with the ladies.

cool, glad to see the prelude; so any chance I can get the picture with the leaf on the hood, circa 2000?

You can see it…if I can *find* it :). Should be in a slide binder somewhere.
